Taras Kinash

Father Taras Kinash is the parish priest of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Ottawa, where he has served since April 2022. Born in 1985 in Nyzhankovychi, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine, he was ordained to the priesthood in 2015 by Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv. Beyond parish duties, he serves as a spiritual counsellor with Ottawa Ukrainian Mental Health and as a chaplain to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
