Viacheslav Nitrutsa is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter and composer born in the Vinnytsia region (Vinnychyna) of Ukraine into a musically talented family. He relocated to Kyiv, joined the ensemble "Gypsy Chants," and founded the BARVA RECORDS recording studio and BARVA vocal studio. An Honoured Pop Art Artist of Ukraine and a prize-winner at Ukrainian and international festivals, he moved to Canada after the full-scale Russian invasion and now lives in Montreal, where he actively participates in Ukrainian community life. He has performed at Ottawa community events including Kupala Night.
