Every year, UAFest becomes a little harder for Carleton Place to overlook. What started as a single garage sale in 2023 has grown into one of Lanark County's most anticipated annual gatherings — the kind of event that shows up on local calendars well before the lineup is even announced.

That growth is the real story: roughly 1,000 guests in year one, more than 4,000 by 2025, and a free, volunteer-run festival that keeps earning its place on the September calendar the same way it always has — by being worth showing up for.

We'll share more as the 2026 season firms up. For now, the surest sign of where UAFest stands in the community is the guest count — and it keeps climbing.
