Who You're Writing To

A volunteer team, not a call centre

UAFest started as one garage sale that Carleton Place resident Gloria Bradley organized in spring 2023 to support Ukrainian families displaced by war. That same grassroots spirit still runs the festival today — the people who read your message are the same volunteers who set up the stage, staff the korchma, and greet guests at the gate.

What began as a single day in 2023 has grown to 4,000+ visitors in 2025, with a goal of 5,000+ for September 13, 2026 — and it's still run entirely by volunteers giving their evenings and weekends, which is why we ask for a little patience if a reply takes a few days.

Before You Reach Out

Email info@uafest.ca directly — it's checked more often than the contact form during busy season.

Check your spam folder first. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, typically within two weeks.

Yes — select Media / Press as your inquiry type above and we'll follow up with our press kit.

Yes — call or text the number on this page. We're a volunteer team, so if you can't reach us right away, email info@uafest.ca and we'll get back to you.

UAFest is 100% volunteer-run — there's no paid office staff. Every form submission and email goes to the same small organizing team that has run the festival since it started as a single garage sale in Carleton Place in spring 2023, so a real person reads it, usually in the evenings or on weekends.

You'll get a faster, more specific response by applying directly: use the Vendor, Sponsor, Volunteer or Performer application on the matching page. This contact form is best for general questions, media requests, or anything that doesn't fit those categories.

Yes — Facebook is our main channel for updates, photos and announcements: facebook.com/UkrainianFestLanarkCounty. Follow along there for the fastest updates as September 13, 2026 gets closer.
