By Department

Every stage cue, every craft table, every detail

Beyond the organizing core, named volunteers lead the departments that actually run festival day. This is the current 2026 roster — everyone who has led a department in past years is credited for good in the UAFest Family directory.

Culture & Program

The stage, the workshops, the history exhibits — everything that makes UAFest feel like Ukraine.

Kids' Zone

Games, crafts and a full day of activities for the festival's youngest guests.

Business, Sponsors & Charity

The relationships that fund the free admission and the year's charity partnership.

Meet the Volunteers

Behind every stage cue and every craft table is a team of neighbours donating their time — the planning meetings pictured here run all year. Nobody on this page is paid; everyone shows up because they want the festival to exist.

Festival Director

Olga in action

Behind every stage cue and every last-minute fix is a neighbour who never clocks out. Olga Ialovenko leads UAFest as a volunteer, just like everyone else on the team.

“No paid staff” is not a slogan here — it is the whole operating model. Every department on this page is run by someone with a day job, a family, and a reason to care.
