The crowd has grown every year since 2023

The first UAFest drew about a thousand people. Last September more than four thousand walked through Riverside Park across one six-hour afternoon, admission free.

Vendor tents line the market walkway through Riverside Park. Every visitor passes your table on the way between the stage, the food area and the kids' zone — and most of them pass it more than once in the day.

The market row runs between the stage, the food area and the kids' zone, so every visitor walks it more than once. Find where your table belongs.

Vendor requirements

Food and beverage booths provide their own $5,000,000 Certificate of Insurance; craft, retail and community tables are covered by the festival's own policy
Fees are sent after your application, matched to your booth type — applying is free
Food vendors may also need food-handling certification and local health approval

Sponsor packages start at $500 and put your logo on the sponsor board — the Silver tier adds a guaranteed stage mention and can include your vendor booth.

Insurance

Selling food or drink? Your booth needs its own certificate

The Town of Carleton Place requires a $5,000,000 liability certificate for every food and beverage booth, naming the Town and Ukrainian Community of Lanark County as additional insureds. We collect those certificates and submit them — a booth cannot open without one.

Every booth is an outdoor space at Riverside Park. Bring your own tent, tables, chairs and signage — the festival provides no equipment.

Vendor FAQ

Apply first and the team sends you the fee for your type of booth, with the terms in writing. Applying costs nothing and commits you to nothing — it lets us match your setup to a space and quote the right number, including the arrangement food booths run on. Nothing is charged before you agree to it.

If you sell food or drink, yes: a $5 million liability certificate naming the Town of Carleton Place and Ukrainian Community of Lanark County as additional insureds, held through setup, the festival day and teardown. Craft, retail and community tables are covered by the festival's own $5 million policy and need nothing separate. Food vendors: wait until your booth is accepted, then follow the coverage details in our confirmation email. VendorPolicy offers short-term online coverage — search “UAFest 2026 - Ukrainian Fest Lanark County” in their event search, and the required additional insureds are already on file. If you already have suitable business coverage, use that instead.

All booths are outdoor spaces at Riverside Park, and vendors bring their own tent, table and signage. Tell us your setup and space needs in the application — the volunteer team matches your space to your vendor type when they review it.

The volunteer team reviews applications on a rolling basis, so the earlier you apply, the sooner you'll hear back — and the better your chance at your preferred space.
