About

ETNIKA UA describes itself as "a modern Ukrainian embroidery boutique offering a unique collection of traditional and contemporary vyshyvankas for men, women, and families." Its pieces, the shop writes, "blend cultural heritage with modern fashion, featuring handmade embroidery, natural fabrics, and exclusive designs" — made for "celebrations, gifting, or everyday wear with meaning."

Under the heading "Our Vision," the boutique says it "is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich tradition of Ukrainian embroidery. Our curated collections showcase the beauty of vyshyvankas, each piece telling a story of craftsmanship and cultural heritage. We strive to bring this timeless artistry into the modern world, redefining the way people experience and embrace Ukrainian culture."

On its collection page the shop writes: "In our collection, you will find embroidered shirts for women, men, and children — each one created with love for Ukrainian tradition and modern style. We combine handcrafted work, natural fabrics, and authentic ornaments to make every vyshyvanka a special part of your story." Women's, men's and children's shirts each have their own section; the women's shirts are split further into handmade and machine embroidery, and handmade children's shirts have a section of their own.

ETNIKA UA sets out its work in four steps it names itself: Design — "Crafting Meaningful Creations"; Production — "Embodiment of Ukrainian traditions in modern clothing"; Delivery — "Bringing Tradition to Your Doorstep"; and Feedback — "Inspiring Connections and Celebrations."

Beyond shirts, the online store lists ethnic skirts and plakhty, baskas and krayky (sashes), macramé accessories, rushnyky and tablecloths, stage costumes, and jackets and corsets. One skirt of homespun linen is offered made to order, with the size "chosen individually" and the length "as you wish." The shop gives its address as Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and the hangtag on its garments carries "@etnika_ua", "Toronto" and "Vyshyvanka for all your family."
